Scandinavian Mineral Gallery - Scorzalite for sale.

This is a very rich specimen of scorzalite. It comes as a vein of dark blue, almost black, scorzalite cutting a rock of pure kyanite. There are some brown lumps of rutile in the vein. There are no crystal surfaces visible in this sample.

This is a very representative rock from this locality. The geology of the area consists of mostly highly metamorphic kyanite quartzites.
